Welcome to Beechmount Pools, your trusted source for high-quality pool filters designed to keep your pool water clean and clear. We offer a comprehensive range of equipment, including sand filters and cartridge filters, to meet the specific needs of your pool and ensure optimal filtration efficiency.
Sand filters are one of the most popular and widely used types of filters. These filters utilize specially graded sand as the filtering medium to trap dirt, debris, and impurities from your pool water. As water passes through the sand bed, contaminants are trapped, and clean water is returned to your pool. Sand filters are known for their durability and low maintenance requirements, making them a cost-effective choice for pool owners.
Cartridge filters offer an efficient and effective filtration solution for pools of all sizes. These feature a pleated cartridge element made of polyester or other synthetic materials. These pleats captures particles as small as 10 microns from your pool water. Cartridge filters provide superior filtration performance and water clarity compared to sand filters. This makes them an excellent choice for pools with heavy debris loads or for owners who prioritize water quality.
One of the key advantages of cartridge filters is their ease of maintenance. Unlike sand filters, which require backwashing to clean the filter media, cartridges can be easily removed and cleaned with a hose or pressure washer. This makes cartridge filters ideal for pool owners who prefer a low-maintenance filtration system that can be quickly and easily serviced.
Both sand filters and cartridge filters have their own set of benefits and considerations. The choice between the two depends on factors such as pool size, budget, and maintenance preferences. Sand filters are typically more affordable upfront and require less frequent cleaning. However, cartridge filters offer superior filtration performance and are easier to maintain in the long run.
At Beechmount Pools, we understand the importance of choosing the right filter for your needs.
